WRITER. PHOTOGRAPHER. COOK. NOT AFRAID OF TRANS FAT.

Picture
I remember the first bite.

It was summer in Paris. I was sitting in an alley with a piece of chocolate mousse cake. I had no fork, just a fierce determination and my hunger. I sank my teeth into that cake. My taste buds were greeted by rich, creamy cocoa and a smooth sensation of airy mousse. The first bite was heaven. I left that cobblestone alley with a dirty face and sticky fingers; a small price to pay for having just finished the best thing I had ever eaten. From this experience and many before, I learned that food is meant to be shared.

Everyone enjoys eating; however, not everyone embraces it for all it has to offer. The smile on a person’s face from a home-cooked meal and the comfort of homemade chicken noodle soup to a sick child are just a couple of the simple pleasures well-prepared food provides.

I live for the things that inspire me to write — food is one of them. I plan to follow my stomach wherever to subdue its cravings, and I'm bringing a pen and paper with me.

My writing experience includes time at Bon Appétit Magazine, FOODBEAST, BuzzFeed, The Independent Florida Alligator and more.

Enjoy this six course meal.
